Masia Egara Wedding | Cristina & Wojtek

Multicultural Wedding at Masia Egara near Barcelona

I’m so excited to share with you this gorgeous wedding that I had the pleasure of photographing at Masia Egara, a stunning 17th century country house located in Terrassa, near Barcelona. This wedding was a celebration of love, culture and diversity, as the bride was from Barcelona and the groom was from Poland, and they had guests from all over the world.

The day started with the bride’s preparation at her parents’ home. She looked beautiful in her white lace dress and veil, and she had her hair done in a simple but elegant bun. She was accompanied by her brother, sisters and parents, who helped her with the final touches and gave her their blessings. I loved capturing the emotions and details of this intimate moment.

The ceremony took place in a small chapel (Església de Sant Cebrià), which was decorated with white flowers and candles. It was a bilingual ceremony, as it was done both in Spanish and Polish, to honor the couple’s origins. The bride walked down the aisle with her father, while the groom waited for her at the altar with a big smile. They exchanged their vows and rings, and kissed each other with joy. It was a beautiful and emotional ceremony, full of love and tears.

After the ceremony, the wedding continued at Masia Egara, where the guests were welcomed with a cocktail in the garden. The venue was amazing, with its rustic charm and elegant style. The guests enjoyed some local food and drinks, while I was shooting an intimate photo session with the couple. I took some intimate photos of the couple in the gardens of Masia Egara, where we found some lovely spots for our session. The couple were so natural and relaxed in front of the camera, and they showed their love and happiness in every shot. They were a joy to photograph.

The dinner was served in a marquee next to the main house. The tables were decorated with white tablecloths, red napkins, candles and flower arrangements. The menu consisted of delicious dishes made with local ingredients. The food was exquisite and plentiful, and everyone enjoyed it. One of the highlights of the party was a game that involved drinking: they played a song for every month of the year and every guest that was born on the month that was being played by the song had to drink a shot of vodka. It was a hilarious and fun way to celebrate the couple’s diversity and friendship.

The party started with the couple’s first dance, which was romantic and sweet. Then they invited their parents and friends to join them on the dance floor, where they had fun until late at night. It was one hell of a party! This wedding was one of those weddings that you remember for a long time. It was full of love, joy and beauty, and it reflected the couple’s personality and style. I’m so happy I was part of it, and I wish them all the best in their new life together."
