Couple Photo Session in Barcelona Beach

Couple Session Barcelona Beach

A Romantic Couple Session at the Beach in Barcelona, Spain

One of the best things about being a wedding photographer is getting to know the couples I work with and capturing their love story. That’s why I always recommend doing a pre-wedding or engagement session before the big day. It’s a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, have some fun and create some beautiful memories.

That’s exactly what I did with this lovely couple from Finland, who chose me as their wedding photographer for their upcoming wedding in August. They wanted to do a couple session in Barcelona beach, in a small village called Sant Pol de Mar, where they were staying for a few days. I was more than happy to join them and explore this charming location.

We met at the beach during midday and started shooting next to the sea. The weather was perfect: sunny, warm and breezy. The couple was relaxed and natural, showing their affection and personality. They looked great together! We walked along the beach, finding different spots to take photos: golden sand, blue water, rocky cliffs, green trees. The beach was not crowded, so we had plenty of space and privacy. One of the things I love about shooting at the beach is the variety of light and colors that you can get. Depending on the angle, the time and the weather, you can create different moods and effects. For example, we got some photos with a soft and dreamy light, some with a bright and vibrant light, and some with a dramatic and contrasted light. We also got some photos with different colors: blue, yellow, green, orange. The beach is like a playground for photographers!

After spending some time at the beach, we decided to move to the village and see what it had to offer. We were pleasantly surprised by the beauty and charm of Sant Pol de Mar. It’s a small town with white houses, narrow streets, colorful flowers and friendly people. It felt like stepping into a fairy tale. We wandered around the village, looking for nice spots to take photos: a stone stairs, a wooden door, a backgraund of floers, a painted wall. The village was full of details and character. We also found some shade and coolness, which was welcome after being under the sun for a while. One of the things I love about shooting in small villages is the authenticity and culture that you can capture. You can see how people live, how they decorate their houses, how they interact with each other. You can also see some history and tradition in the architecture and the art.

The couple session in Barcelona beach was a success. We had a lot of fun, we got to know each other better and we created some stunning photos that reflect the love and connection between the couple. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in July and capture more of their happiness.
